Sunny Gardenthe official Nick Earls websiteA b o u tSunny Garden is designed, written and maintained by Liz Perkins, in cooperation with Nick Earls and Penguin Books. Any questions about the content of Sunny Garden should be directed to Liz The history Sunny Garden originated as a fan site on 31 January 1999, and became official in 2001. While I try to keep Sunny Garden as up-to-date as possible, please keep in mind that I run the site in my spare time and on a voluntary basis. One day I'll get a life and then you'll be sorry :-) Why call the site Sunny Garden? Sunny Garden is the name of the "shabby, dimly lit (and gardenless) Chinese restaurant" that Jon and Rick visit most Monday nights in Bachelor Kisses (page 34). I wanted the website to be specifically based around something from one of Nick's novels, and when I found the dragon background I immediately thought of the Chinese restaurant in Bachelor Kisses, and the Sunny Garden website was born. Sunny Garden would not be possible without the assistance of many kitchen staff. Special thanks to Nick, Rachel, Melissa, Betsy and Deb for their support, encouragement and research assistance. Thanks also to Penguin Books, Vincent and Vincent at ARTS Alive, Macmillan Publishers, St Martin's Press, Lawrence at HorrorShow records, the University of the Sunshine Coast Library, Phil, Steve, Jane, Lara, Ben, Liz, Laura and anyone else who has provided information for Sunny Garden.
