The Rabbit

1903, 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011

The Rabbit is born under the signs of virtue and prudence and is considered the luckiest sign of all. Rabbits know how to make the best of themselves - they believe in their own judgement and ability to survive.

Rabbits are intelligent, gentle, friendly, talented and gracious. They dislike conflict and will try to steer clear of arguments and disputes. They enjoy quiet, peaceful lives and tend to have a calming influence on others. Although rabbits seldom lose their temper, they are sensitive and take criticism badly. Rabbits feel ill-at-ease with the Rat and Rooster as both these signs tend to speak their minds and be critical.

Rabbits are superb communicators and very witty and intelligent speakers. Whilst they may appear quiet and shy, Rabbits love having fun and know how to enjoy themselves.

Rabbits attach a great deal of importance to relationships. They are popular and never lack admirers. Rabbits need trust, security and tenderness in a relationship and when they find their soulmate their commitment is powerful. Rabbits are especially well suited to those born under the signs of the Sheep, Pig, Goat, Snake and Ox.

Rabbits are famous for their good taste. The Rabbit takes considerable care over his appearance and a Rabbit's home is always beautiful. They appreciate the arts and the finer things in life and make wonderful hosts.

Most Rabbits are cautious and do not like to take risks. They work hard and carefully weigh the pros and cons of any situation - which is probably why they almost always succeed at anything they do.

The Water Rabbit

January 29, 1903 to February 15, 1904
January 25, 1963 to February 12, 1964

The Water Rabbit enjoys the immensity of solitude. Water Rabbits have above average interpersonal skills, are intuitive, diplomatic and unimposing, and make friends easily. However, Water Rabbits tend to be too conciliatory and often look for the easy way out. They have a tendency to be too trusting and may lean too much on others for support.

Water Rabbits enjoy life to the fullest extent and find creative outlets through their very fulfilling careers. They have an eye for spotting and developing potential. Their determination to rise to the top makes them well regarded in their field.

Some notable Rabbits include Arthur Miller, Orson Welles, Confucius, Albert Einstein, George Orwell, Frank Sinatra, John Keats, Lewis Carroll and, of course, Nick Earls.
